Cindo de Mayo Bar Crawl & Annual Bob Lenz Memorial 5K Run
The Clarence Hollow Association is excited to host our 2nd Annual Cinco de Mayo Bar Crawl and Bob Lenz Memorial 5K Run, bringing the community together for an afternoon of fitness, fun, and local celebration.
Bob Lenz Memorial 5K Run
The Bob Lenz Memorial 5K Run will kick off at 4:00 PM at the Clarence Farmers Market. The course will run along the Clarence Bike Path and finish back at the Farmers Market, making it an accessible and scenic route for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. This race honors the memory of Bob Lenz while promoting community, wellness, and togetherness.
Cinco de Mayo Bar Crawl
Following the race, the Cinco de Mayo Bar Crawl will take place throughout the Clarence Hollow. All local bars will be participating, each offering festive themes, food, drinks, and specials to celebrate the holiday. The crawl is a great way to support local businesses while enjoying a lively and social evening with friends and neighbors.
Supporting the Community
Proceeds from the event help fund Clarence Hollow Association initiatives, including community events, beautification projects, and ongoing efforts that strengthen the Hollow year-round.

Spring Mixer
The Clarence Hollow Association invites the community to join us for our Spring Mixer, an evening designed to bring neighbors together to celebrate the season and support local talent and businesses.
Held on the Clarence Town Park Club House patio, this relaxed and welcoming event will feature live entertainment by Jack and April Civiletto, a husband and wife vocal duo known for their engaging performances and wide-ranging musical style. Their live music will set the tone for a fun and social night in the Hollow.
Guests will also enjoy a showcase of food and refreshments from local restaurants, offering an opportunity to sample and support the businesses that help make our community thrive. The Spring Mixer is the perfect chance to connect with friends, meet new neighbors, and enjoy a lively evening in a beautiful outdoor setting.

These community concerts are held on the front lawn of the historic inn and are free and open to the public. Neighbors and visitors are invited to relax, enjoy live music, and experience the charm of the Hollow in a truly special setting.
Each concert evening includes live performances by talented musicians, along with raffle prizes and refreshments. Guests are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket and settle in for a laid-back night of music and community connection.

Held each September, the Scarecrow Festival invites local businesses, families, organizations, and community members to participate by creating unique scarecrow displays throughout the area. This festive evening encourages participants to dress in costume and join the crawl as local bars roll out Halloween-themed specials, live music, and spooky atmospheres for the night. A costume contest with prizes will be held, so creativity is highly encouraged.

Christmas Party & Tree Lighting Ceremony
The Clarence Hollow Association invites our community to join us for our Annual Christmas Party and Membership Thank You, a festive evening celebrating the season and expressing our sincere appreciation for the members who support the Hollow throughout the year.
Hosted at The Brick Hall, this end-of-year celebration will feature our annual tree lighting ceremony at the Farmers Market, marking the official start of the holiday season in the Clarence Hollow. Guests are invited to enjoy Christmas music, festive décor, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout the evening.
Attendees will also enjoy samplings from local restaurants, along with festive refreshments, offering an opportunity to support and celebrate the businesses that make our community special. With great food, holiday music, and plenty of seasonal merriment, this event is designed to bring neighbors together in the spirit of the season.
This celebration serves as a heartfelt thank you to our membership and community for another year of events, engagement, and support.

How It Works:
Create your scarecrow at home, school, or your workplace
Register by September 27 to be eligible for judging and prizes
Choose your preferred light post location (first come, first serve)—a map of numbered posts will be provided
Secure your scarecrow using zip ties, rope, or bungee cords (no tape allowed)
Keep your scarecrow family-friendly, weather-resistant, and well maintained
🏆 Judging is based on creativity, quality, and visibility. Winners will be notified by phone/email and posted on Facebook by October 3.
